Q: How do I invite a customer to ProTrax?

In the ProTrax app, open any customer card and tap the invite code. Share that code with your customer. They download ProTrax, tap "Sign Up as Customer," and enter the code to link directly to your jobs.

Q: My customer is not seeing their project update.

Make sure they are linked to the correct job using your invite code. Updates sync in real time — if they still don't see it, have them pull down to refresh on their Projects screen.

Q: How do I add a job start date and estimated finish date?

Open the job detail modal, tap "Edit Job," and scroll down to the Job Timeline section. Tap the 🚀 Job Start and 🏁 Est. Finish fields to set the dates. The customer will then see the visual timeline progress bar.

Q: How do I upload a plan or PDF to a job?

Open the job in the ProTrax app, scroll to Files & Plans, and tap the upload icon. Select the PDF from your Files app. It will be stored and accessible from the web at protrax.app.

Q: Why does the Crest dashboard show no data?

The Crest Sales Rep Tracker requires importing your sales report. Go to the Crest tab → Import, select your data source (BisTrack, CDK, etc.), and follow the guide to export and import your report.

Q: How do I change my pipeline opportunity from warm to hot?

In the Pipeline tab, long-press on an opportunity card and select "Edit." Change the status to Hot and tap Save. It will update immediately on both mobile and at protrax.app.

Q: The app is not showing my most recent data on the web.

ProTrax syncs in real time via the cloud. Try refreshing the page at protrax.app. If data still seems out of date, sign out and sign back in with the same email and password you use on your phone.

Q: How do I delete a customer or job?

Open the job detail modal and scroll to the Actions section at the bottom. You can archive (hides from active views) or permanently delete a job there. Customers can be archived from the customer card actions menu.
